We have search high and low for a quality built, with classic principals in mind, linens to showcase with our mattresses. It is a generationally owned cotton farm that is now producing some of the finest quality linens all 100% in America.
Once we knew that they existed, we sat back and watched to see what people were saying. Not surprising to us, everyone LOVED them. There are comments like "it reminds me of my childhood" or "just like my great grandparents classic sheets". The standard of quality and commitment to producing fine America made products is as high as we have seen in recent times. Over time America has lost it's desire to producing quality textiles in search of higher profits. Not at Red Land Cotton, they recognize the importance of the American industry and even more important that if you are going to do something, you do it right. Like us, they put more importance on the finished product and what the consumer wants rather than focusing on how much money can be made. We never put profits in front of a customer's rest & neither do they.
After we talked to the Yeager/Brakefield family, we knew right away they were something special. It was then that we looked at each other as a family and said we have to do whatever it takes to bring their product into our store. We are still family owned and operated after 103 years, so we know that local support is key to continued success. Their family knew it was important to give more access to their customers in the Birmingham area, but there just wasn't a company with the history and commitment to quality like ours that could really protect their brand. We are beyond excited to retail their product and to get more hands touching and feeling their quality USA made linens, grown right here in Alabama. That alone is something truly special to us. Most of our mattresses are made just a touch over 100 miles from our store and almost all of our mattresses are made by family owned organizations. That is something that we find as the upmost importance because we feel that brings a level of quality and accountability that big corporations just can't offer.
Starting today, you will see Red Land Cotton take center stage in our stores as the exclusive linen offerings. We rarely give exclusivity because there are just so many options out on the market, but in this category we think RLC is the best offering. We work tirelessly trying to bring our customer's products that truly protects their investments and this fights in that category perfect! We are honored to be the ONLY retailer in Alabama of Red Land Cotton other than their family store in Moulton.
